What is the 10th Anniversary Runcation?

To mark Runcation Travel's 10-year anniversary in 2027, we're running one or two application-only, hand-selected trail running trips on routes we've always wanted to design. Small groups, technical terrain, and priority for the long-time Runcation community.

Why is it application-only?

These trips are more technical and physically demanding than our standard offerings. Application-only lets us build the right group for the right trip — matching applicants to fit, and making sure everyone has an incredible time (and gets home safely).

Question 3

When will I hear back after applying?

Accepted Answer

We review every application personally. Expect to hear back within 3 weeks of the application deadline. If selected, you'll get first access to itinerary, dates, and pricing before we announce anything publicly.

Question 4

Do I need to have traveled with Runcation before?

No — first-time applicants are welcome. That said, we're giving priority to the long-time Runcation community who have made this 10 years possible. If you haven't traveled with us before, tell us about your running background and why this trip resonates with you.

Question 5

How selective is the trip?

Accepted Answer

Small groups only — typically 8–14 spots per trip. We expect more applications than spots. Please answer the application questions honestly — saying 'no' or 'not yet' to any question does not disqualify you. Honest answers help us build the right group.

Question 6

Will there be pricing before I apply?

Accepted Answer

No — pricing and exact itinerary will be shared with selected applicants first, before the trip is announced publicly. Trips will be priced in line with our standard 6–9 day guided trips, adjusted for terrain and logistics.

Question 7

Can I apply for more than one trip?

Accepted Answer

If we run two anniversary trips, yes — you're welcome to indicate interest in both, and we'll match you to the trip that fits best. Selection preference goes to fit and honest self-assessment, not order or number of applications.
